Engineers
Systems engineering integrates technical disciplines, processes, and methods to develop and manage complex systems in a structured manner throughout their entire life cycle. The SE-ZERT® program offers a recognized certification as a Certified Systems Engineer (GfSE)® and enables individuals to demonstrate their systems engineering competencies through independent personal certification.
The SE-ZERT® program offers four qualification levels that reflect different levels of experience and areas of responsibility. From working in systems engineering teams to leading complex projects, engineers can systematically develop their knowledge and demonstrate it through a certificate.
For engineers, it offers an opportunity to demonstrate their professional growth and prove their ability to apply systems engineering methods.

The certification is based on the principles of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288, the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook, and relevant systems engineering standards. It covers technical competencies, systems engineering methods, requirements management, verification and validation, systems engineering management, as well as complementary skills such as project collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Please note that the additional services offered may vary from one provider to another. All providers should assist you with both consultation and the required forms. GfSE/INCOSE members receive a discount.
Overview of Universities and Colleges
The degree programs listed for universities and colleges are accredited as training providers for Levels D and C. These degree programs therefore also demonstrate compliance with ISO 15288 and INCOSE Systems Engineering. Consequently, graduates of these programs who can provide proof of at least one year of professional experience may register for the exam with the appropriate documentation without needing additional training. This applies only to Level C. Graduates without professional experience must first register for the Level D exam.
